Even after coming back to her senses following her duel with Gakuto, she still chooses to leave his service, feeling as if she has no right to stand by his side anymore and began serving Neiru instead. I Choose to Stay: Inverted with Ranze.Honest Advisor: Despite their loyalty, they are willing to call out Gakuto when they believe he is shirking his duties for his interest in "Rush Duels", and Ranze even attempts to circumvent his orders in the Duel when he is hesitant about playing all out.Half-Identical Twins: Ranze and Rinnosuke are both bespectacled with similar features and hairstyles, the only difference being Rinnosuke having a slightly darker hair color.Expy: They are similar to Tsukikage and Hikage as both pairs are sibling Ninja duelists who use the same deck and even have one sibling, (Ranze and Tsukikage), gain more prominence over the other.Dub Name Change: To Rayne and Rino in the English version of Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royal.In the Team Battle Royal arc, Ranze even leaves Gakuto's service while Rinnosuke remains behind. Divergent Character Evolution: They start off basically the same except for gender, but in the Goha 6th Arc, they begin to diverge with their cynicism and idealism, overall loyalty, personalities, and playstyle.Deadpan Snarker: Ranze is shown to be rather snarky, and was much more critical of Romin's terrible attempts to cook.Her "Ranze Eyes" delusions heavily skew her perception of reality. Ascended Extra: Originally just Gakuto's assistants, Goha 6th upgrades them, especially Ranze, to part of main cast for the arc.Rinnosuke occassionaly becomes one when teasing Ranze, but their roles are reversed when Ranzes Crush Filter antics get out of hand and he has to snap her out of it. Annoying Younger Sibling: Played straight, then inverted.Amazon Brigade: Ranze's Flowerflang monsters are kunoichi.Ranze's deck focus on swarm tactics while Rinnosuke's use destruction effects and burn damage. The twins play Flowerfang Decks, a Plant deck based on ninja. Twins Ranze and Rinnosuke are respectively the Vice President and Secretary of the school, assisting Gakuto in enforcing the rules.
